The Spice of Life: October 2017

By October 1, 2017News

All Fired Up

While Miami narrowly avoided the full force of the recent storms, we all had our fair share of disruption to deal with, including temporarily closing our doors. So this month we’re making it up to you with some generous offers and mouthwatering menus. It’ll take more than the weather to put our fire out. Reserve a table!

Miami Spice: Extended!

Since we weren’t able to cook for a few days we got to thinking what else we could do for our customers to spice things up. We won’t ruin the surprise now, but keep your eyes peeled for some fantastic new services and in-store promotions coming your way.

In the meantime, we’ve extended our Miami Spice offer to make up for the days we were closed. That means you can enjoy a full three-course lunch for just $23 or dinner for just $39 right the way until the end of October. Featuring plenty of your Graziano’s favorites as well as some seasonal specials, there’s no excuse not to treat yourself.

Wines of the Month

Ortega Ezquerro Rioja Tempranillo 2015

The Ortega Ezquerro Rioja Tempranillo 2015 is fresh and satisfying with a deep red color, fruity aromas of cherries, crushed raspberries and a touch of gunpowder upfront – enough to get you excited! With these forward fruit flavors and near to no wood on the palate this Tempranillo is so much fun to drink. Enjoy it with dishes like a paella with scampi and rabbit or with grilled sausage. This Rioja opens up your appetite and is just asking for one more sip and another and another…

Ortega Ezquerro Crianza 2013

Here is another great red wine by the Ortega Ezquerro Winery from the Tudelilla village in the heart of the Rioja region.

“Crianza” refers to one year in the barrel plus one year in the bottle before release. This particular Crianza 2013 is intense in the dark red color and the aromas of red cherry, raspberry and spices. The classic Rioja made from 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha grapes has spend 14-16 month in oak, 70% in new American oak and some 30% in used French oak barrels and the fruit aromas are very well framed by delicious vanilla and toffee notes and rounded on the palate by silky and sweet tannins, a structured and well balanced red wine.
