FOURTH OF JULY
Fireworks, smireworks. This Independence Day, we want your grills to light up the skies. Fire ’em up, then load ’em up with your favorite cuts from our butcher shop.
MEAT CUT OF THE MONTH: ENTRAÑA
Entraña is legendary in Argentina for its flavor and juiciness. This skirt steak is a long, flat cut that comes from below the cow’s ribs, and it’s perfect for grilling. Lucky for you, we’ve got it on our restaurant menu and at the butcher shop.
HISTORY OF FOOD
This month, it’s all about chimichurri. Some people claim the word “chimichurri” comes from “tximitxurri,” from the Basque region, which translates to “a mixture of several things in no particular order.” Others believe it was originally a mispronunciation of “Jimmy’s curry.” Jimmy refers to a 19th century English or Irishman who was either a meat trader or a freedom fighter. While there’s no consensus on the origin of chimichurri, everyone agrees that this delectable sauce goes well with meat or pasta. Stop by one of our markets or order online to get your hands on our original chimichurri or our spicy chimichurri.
HAPPY HAPPY HOUR
We’ve got options on options for Happy Hour. On weekdays from 5pm-9pm, our restaurant bars have a small bites menu and 2-for-1 specialty cocktails, wine, and beer. From 5pm-7pm, our markets have 2-for-1 sangria, wine, and Bionda on draft, plus our special food/drink combo menu.
