This month’s highlight is BUCATINI CACIO E PEPE, known here as
“Mom’s favorite dish.” Cacio e pepe has been around for centuries. It was especially popular with Roman shepherds because its ingredients
(dried pasta, aged pecorino romano, and black pepper) traveled well and didn’t spoil easily. This dish has withstood the test of time thanks to its simplicity and deliciousness. It’s on the menu at Lucia Pizzeria, and we’re still using Mom’s original recipe.
